Ida Larue Hayes

Ida Larue Hayes 58, of Cuthbert, died Tuesday July 29, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany Ga. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday Aug. 1, 2014 at the Dickey Presbyterian Church Cemetery near Morgan, Ga. with the Rev. Jackie Williams officiating.

Mrs. Hayes was born in Quitman, Ga., Nov. 21, 1955 the daughter of the late J.W. Shirley and Pauline Oliver Shirley. She was a high school graduate, a homemaker, and a member of the Presbyterian Faith.

Survivors include her husband Greg Hayes of Cuthbert: 2 sons, Stan Hayes of Eufaula, AL and Shane Hayes of Coleman, Ga, 3 brother, Tim Shirley and Tom Shirley of Quitman and Jim Shirley of Ray City, 4 sisters, Rosa Lee Weaver and Elitharina Brooks both of Quitman, Cordella Brinson of Valdosta, Norma Fay Beaty of Pavo, 8 grandchildren and a great grandchild and Father-in-law, Curtis Hayes of Cuthbert.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at Lunsford Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
