Inez Johnson Smith,96, of Cuthbert passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Dawson Health and Rehab. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at  2:00 PM in the Shellman Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Sharon Loyley officiating.

Mrs. Smith was born on July 22, 1918 in Lincolnton, NC the daughter of the late Alston and Eva Ramsey Johnson. She was a high school graduate, a self employed seamstress and a member of the Shellman Untied Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Herman A. Smith.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Pat) Laye and her husband Bill of Shellman and a grandson, Kirby Laye of Carrollton.
