Irma Ruth Goddard Rogers, 87, of Ft. Valley and formerly of Coleman, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM in East View Cemetery in Cuthbert with Rev. Peter Vermeulen officiating.

Irma was born on July 14, 1927 in Cuthbert the daughter of the late Tommy Lucian Goddard, Sr. and the late Bessie Collins Goddard. She was a former Real Estate Agent and a member of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joe James Rogers along with a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue (Jim) Rogers McBride of Leesburg, a brother-in-law, Robert Rogers of Coleman, a grandson, Michael (Kris) Jamison McBride of Marietta, 2 great grandchildren, Bailey McBride and Bodie McBride along with a number of nieces and nephews.
