Ronald Jack Torbert, 78, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his residence. Graveside memorial services will be conduct at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in the Vilulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lee Wright officiating.

Jack was born on May 10, 1946, in Cuthbert, GA the son of the late Willie George "Jack' Torbert and the late Lorene Lindsey Torbert. He was a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College, retired insurance agent with American General Life Insurance Company, served for 8 years on the Cuthbert City Council, former member of the Cuthbert Lions Club, Veteran of the Georgia National Guard and a member of Benevolence Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Tammy T. Caldwell and brother, Jerry Torbert.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Torbert of Cuthbert, son, Chad Torbert of Cuthbert, grandson, Jackson Torbert of Cuthbert, granddaughter, Livvy Torbert of Cuthbert, 3 brothers, Samuel (Barbara) Torbert of Cuthbert, Dan (Mary) Torbert of Americus and Terry (Teresa) Torbert of Coleman.

The family would like to add their appreciation to Georgia Hospice staff who worked with Jack for 9 months.
