James Henry Brazeal, 94, of Columbus died Thursday Oct. 10, 2013 at Emeritus Heritage Hills assisted living home in Columbus, Ga.  Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday Oct. 12, 2013 at  East View Cemetery in Cuthbert. The Rev. Jimmy Blanton will officiate.

He was born Oct. 16, 1918 in Hawkinsville, Ga. the son of the late James Aaron and Lydia Wallace Brazeal. He was a member of the Georgetown Baptist Church. He was a retired car salesman for the Eufaula Chevrolet Dealer.

Survivors include a daughter Patricia (Thomas) Farmer of Columbus, Ga.; a sister Evelyn Turner of Cuthbert; Five Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren and a Great-Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Mae Barr Brazeal; a daughter Martha Jean Arnold; two brothers Wilmer and Ellis Brazeal and a sister Katherine Lanier.
