James Wilkerson, 91, of Moye died on Monday, January 11, 2021 in the Calhoun County Nursing Home in Edison, GA. Private graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Carnegie Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Shannon Morris officiating. Mask and social distancing will be required.

Mr. James was born on June 24, 1929 in Edison, GA the son of the late George Quinton "Pete" Wilkerson and the late Cullie Turner Wilkerson. He was employed by Burgin Lumber Co. for over 50 years and a member of Enterprise Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Christine Lewis Wilkerson and a daughter, Lorraine Wilkerson.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Linda (Rusty) Peak of Cuthbert and Jean (Joe) Whitaker of Carnegie, a son, James R. (Marie) Wilkerson of Coleman, a sister, Lee Beard of Cuthbert, 6 grandchildren, Lee, Tony, Brandi, Brent, Derrick and Rachel, 2 step grandchildren, Stacy and Terry and 13 great grandchildren, Matt, Charlotte, Joey, Briggs, Hanna, Will, Aubrey, Ashton, Emarie, Eden, Amelia, Hannah and Lillian.
