Jan Maximus Guyt, 78, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at his residence. As per his wishes no services are planned.
Jan was born on January 24, 1948, in Amsterdam, Netherlands the son of the late Jacob Guyt and the late Roelfke Meyer Guyt. He graduated from high school and attended 3 years of college in Amsterdam. He was retired from retail sales with Home Depot and was a member of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Marina Guyt of Cuthbert, 2 sisters, Loura Van Pooij and Leone Mensink and 3 brothers, Max Guyt, Steef Guyt and Jaap Guyt.
