Janie McAllister Lunsford, 80, of Cuthbert passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her residence. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Cuthbert Presbyterian Church with interment to follow in East View Cemetery. Rev. Richard Hawks will officiate.

Janie was born on January 31, 1938 in Cuthbert the daughter of the late William Angus and Mildred Monfort McAllister. She received an Associate's Degree from ABAC, retired as a child support agent for Randolph County and was a member of the Cuthbert Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband; Ben Lunsford of Cuthbert, a daughter; Mimmie (Ray) Lumpkin of Cuthbert, a sister; Mary Frank Bailey of Memphis, TN, 2 brothers; John Reese McAllister of Cuthbert and Dent McAllister of Moultrie, 2 grandchildren; Mandy (Jim) McNease of Brinson, GA and Morgan Lumpkin of Cuthbert and 2 great grandchildren; Kayte McNease and Anna Blayke McNease.
