JERRY ROBERT JAMES

JERRY ROBERT JAMES, 63 of Georgetown died Friday Jan 6, 2014 at Pheobe Putney Hospital in Albany, Ga. Memorials services will be conducted Tuseday Jan. 7, 2014 at 2:00 EST (1:00 CST) at the Christian Life Church in Eufaula, AL. with the Rev William Lewis officiating.

Mr. James was born Apr. 3, 1950 in Albany, Ga. the son of the late Robert Lee and Retha Johns James. Mr James was a teacher at the Albany Vocational College, and was a printer and Gun Dealer. He served in the Georgia National Guard.

Suvivors include a special friend and companion Eva York, a daughter Leigh (Chad) Sumner of Tifton, two step daughters Shannon (Michael) McGinnis of Cordele and Melissa York of Cordele. Six Grandchildren Anna Leigh Sumner, Cameron Sumner, Drayton McGinnis, Sawyer McGinnis, Mary Michael McGinnis and Ellie Roberson.

In lieu of flowers memorials are to be made to the Christian Life Church, 644 Blakley St. Cuthbert, Ga. 39840.

The family will recieve friends Monday Jan 6, 2014 from 5-7PM at Lunsford Funeral Home.
