Jessie Lou McPherson, 79, of Columbus passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in the St. Francis Hospital in Columbus. Graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the Chickasawhatchee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Dawson.

Mrs. McPherson was born on January 19, 1937 in Shellhorn, AL. the daughter of the late James Henry Price, Sr. and Annie Ruth Little Price. She was a Home Maker and a member of the Southern Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lucius Goode McPherson and her daughter, Remona McPherson Reid.

Survivors include a her son, Walter Allen (Fran) McPherson of Smiths Station, AL., 4 sisters, Patsy Ruth Price, Mary Ann Blair, Betty Carden all of Smiths Station, AL. and Linda (Mark) Blalock of Indianapolis, IN., 4 brothers, Joseph William (Nanette) Price of Richland, James Henry (Sandy) Price, Jr., Jim Frank (Jan) Price and Billy Joe Price all of Smiths Station, AL., 2 granddaughters, Kasey Reid (Ed) Hall, Ryann Reid Hancock and a great grandson, Braxton Reid Hancock.
