James "Jimmy" Walker Adams III, 85, of Richland, GA passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Monday, April 10, 2023, in the Harmony Cemetery in Richland with Dr. Ken Bush, Rev. Chris Wilkinson and Steve Smith officiating.

Jimmy was born on December 6, 1937, in Barnesville, GA, the son of the late James Walker Adams II and the late Evelyn Cherry Adams. He was a member of the Eufaula First Baptist Church, a retired Farmer and a retired Rural Mail Carrier. He attended Georgia Tech University in Atlanta and ABAC University in Tifton.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Veal Adams of Richland, 2 daughters, Kimberly Adams and her fiancé Radford Welch and Cherry Adams Evans and her husband Jay, a brother, Bobby Adams and his wife Virginia, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at his residence at 3693 Carter Spur Road Richland, GA.
