Jimmy David (J. D.) Brown, Jr.
Jimmy David (J. D.) Brown, Jr., 68 of Shellman, died October 22, 2012 at Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 24th at 11:00 AM at Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery near Shellman with Rev. David McFather officiating.
Mr. Brown was born April 28, 1944 at Rochelle, Ga. son of the late Jimmy David Brown and Jean Hill Brown. He was retired from Ferrell Gas Company as a driver and was a member of Damascus Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; Patsy Milner Brown of Shellman, a son; Mark H. Brown and wife Jennifer of Cuthbert, a daughter; Jada and her husband Troy Harris of Shellman, 4 sisters; Joyce Crumbley and Jeanette Rhodes of Hawkinsville, Judy Hertz of Atlanta and Jacquelyn Evans of Waynesboro, 5 Grandchildren; Courtney Settles, Austin Brown, Blake Brown, Marissa Harris and Taylor Harris, and 2 great grandchildren; Gracen and Ryle Settles.
The family will receive friends Tuesday October 23rd at Lunsford Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
