Jimmy Larry Simpson, Jr., 53, of Coleman, GA passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, in the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in the Morgan City Cemetery with Rev. Randy Stokes officiating.

Jimmy was born on October 27, 1971, in Germany the son of the late Brenda Kay Tompkins and Jimmy Larry Simpson, Sr. He was a welder for Womble Farms in Jakin, GA, a member of the Bluffton Methodist Church and an avid Alabama Fan. He was preceded in death by his mother, and, a brother-in-law, David Thompson.

Survivors include his father, Jimmy Simpson, Sr. of Edison, 2 sons, Thomas Justin "TJ" (Tiffany) Simpson of Whigham and Tyler Simpson of Shellman, a sister, Christina Thompson of Coleman, 5 grandchildren, Bowen Simpson, Ellie Rae Simpson, Koltyn Simpson, Easyn Simpson and Emalyn Simpson, 2 nieces, Abby Avera and Kaylee Turner, nephew, Trey Wilson, Great niece, Cheyenne Turner, great nephew, Jackson Turner and long-time friend, John Kelly.
