Joe Milton "J. M." Frith, 68 of Shellman died June 28, 2013 at Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM in East View Cemetery in Shellman with Rev. Jackie Williams officiating.

Mr. Frith was born September 16, 1944 in Edison son of the late Walter Eugene Frith and Bennie Lee Phelps Frith.  An Army Veteran, he was retired from the maintenance department of Proctor and Gamble and was a hamm radio operator.

Survivors include his wife; Patricia Coleman Frith of Shellman, three daughters; Kristie Draper and Tammy Bryan of Leesburg and Patti McDonald of Cuthbert, two sons; Shane Bridges of Leesburg and Mark Bridges of Albany, a sister; Carolyn F. Harris of Dothan, AL, and eight grandchildren; Lisa Bridges, Dylan Bridges, Jessica Lavoie, Hunter Thompson, Cole McDonald, Cullen McDonald, Lindsey Draper and Geremy Draper.
