John Thomas Fleming, 81, of Coleman passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 in the Wilson Hospice House in Albany. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Vilulah Baptist Church with Rev. David Murphy officiating.

John was born on November 2, 1935 in Shorterville, AL the son of the late Saint Elmo and Inez Adams Fleming. He was an Army Veteran, a retired Farmer and a member of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his first wife; Martha (June) Morgan, his second wife; Wanda Sue Gibson and a son; Alton Lee Hobbs, III.

Survivors include 4 sons; Tom (Sally) Fleming of Edison, Stanley (Becky) Miller of Bainbridge, Tony (Dorenda) Miller of Bainbridge and Mark (Tammy) Miller of Brinson, 3 daughters; Tina (Daniel) Griswold of Waco, Ga., Lucy Hobbs of Cuthbert and Shannon (James) Martin of Brinson, a sister; Sarah Pelto of Shorterville, a brother; Robert Fleming of Abbeville, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
