Obituary
John Rufus Hancock, 59, of Preston died Sunday Sept. 15 at his residence. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday Sept. 17, 2013 at Foreman Cemetery in Webster County with the Rev. Robert Orr and Rev. Olin Johnson officiating.
John Rufus Hancock was born Dec. 10, 1953 In Calhoun County the son of William E. and Annie Lane Hancock and was the owner- operator of Corner Service & Parts in Shellman, Ga. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his mother Annie Lane Hancock of Preston, Ga., 3 brothers; Sam Hancock of Sasser, Ga. William Ronald and Jerry Hancock of Preston, Ga. and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday Sept. 16, 2013 at Curry Funeral Home
