Johnny Mercer Allen 66, of Ft. Gaines, Ga. died Sunday Mar. 20, 2016 at his residence

Mr. Allen was born April 10, 1949 in Early Co. the son of William Jennings and Alma Carter Allen. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a retired equipment operator for the City of Blakely.  He enjoyed Crappie fishing on the lake in Ft. Gaines.

He was survived by a son Jeffrey Duke, and his fiancé Rose Creel, 2 brothers Cecil Philmon and Jimmy Philmon, and several nieces and nephews, and a very special sister in law Patty Philmon, as well as lots of friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Hobbs Allen, Edna Weber, Myrl Love, Bobby Philmon, Edward Philmon, Charles Philmon and Byron Philmon.
