Josephine Reid Coffin, 99, of Cuthbert died Friday, May 31, 2013 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 2nd at 2:00 PM in Eastview Cemetery in Cuthbert with Rev. Peter Vermeulen officiating.

Mrs. Coffin was born June 26, 1913 in Cuthbert, daughter of the late Pringle McKissick Reid and Maude Martin Reid. She was a graduate of Andrew College and The University of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Clements Coffin and a daughter, Esther Coffin Miller.

Mrs. coffin is survived by four grandchildren; Dr. William C. Tidmore, Jr. and wife Jennifer and James R. Miller and wife Marriott all of Valdosta, Alee Tidmore Miller and husband Cliff of Cuthbert and Laura Ruth Fitzgerald Wiggins of Albany, seven great-grandchildren; Victoria Reid Smith, Mark Douglas Brimberry, Motie McLaughlin Brimberry, Emma Elizabeth Rice Carr, Josephine Price Tidmore, George Coffin Tidmore and Esther Francis Miller.

The family will receive friends at the residence. Memorials may be made to the Cuthbert United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 449, Cuthbert, GA 39840.
