JOYCE MOORE

Elizabeth Joyce Arnold Moore, 77, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in the chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home with interment in Cuthbert Eastview Cemetery and Rev. Lee Wright officiating.

Joyce was born on December 15, 1948, in Cuthbert, GA the daughter of the late Eddie Earl Arnold, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Arthur Arnold. She was a 1966 graduate of Randolph County High School and received an accountant certificate from Albany Vocational Technical School. She was an accountant with Eddie Arnold CPA, member of Brooksville Baptist Church and a long-time member and treasurer of the Cuthbert Pilot Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph Thomas “Tom” Moore, Jr. sister, Linda (John) Kociaba, and brother, Eddie Earl Arnold, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Thomas “Joey” (Cindi) Moore, III of Cuthbert, granddaughter, Andrea P. King, 3 great grandchildren, McKenzie (Noah) King, Gabriel King, and Ashlee Stafford, 3 great great granddaughters, nieces, Danielle Kociaba, Jodi Kociaba, and Kendra Holcomb and several great nieces.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 5156 River Rd. Suite M Columbus, GA 31904.
