Joyce Clements Phillips, 89, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in the Willson Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the Cuthbert Eastview Cemetery with Dr. Ben McFather officiating.

Mrs. Phillips was born on February 18, 1936, in Quitman, GA the daughter of the late Cleveland Anderson Clements and the late Irene Lamp Clements. Miss Joycie as she was called and loved by so many children, she helped to raise by owning and operating a Children's Daycare out of her home until her health dictated her to retire. She was a graduate of Morven High School, Andrew College and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Marlin "Bud" Phillips and a grandson, William Clifford "Bud" Peak, III.

Survivors include her daughter, Rita Phillips Peak of Cuthbert, son, Mickey Phillips of Cuthbert, a grandson, Adam Peak of Cuthbert, a great grandson, Adam Blake Peak, Jr., a sister, Hazel (Larry) Downing of Valdosta, GA and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
