JOYCE SCARBOROUGH

Joyce Settles Scarborough, 87, of Shellman, GA passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in the Evergreen Assisted Living in Albany. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 31, 2026, in the Shellman Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Chet Anderson officiating.

Joyce was born on November 10, 1938, in Cuthbert, GA the daughter of the late Earl Settles and the late Verlie Durrance Settles. She was a graduate of Cuthbert High School, member of the Shellman First Baptist Church and was retired as the office manager for Peerless Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Aubrey Scarborough and a son, Michael Linwood Scarborough.

Survivors include her son, Tony (Teresa) Scarborough of Leesburg, 2 granddaughters, Hannah and Haley Scarborough of Albany, 2 step-grandchildren, Olivia Bevel and Dawson Bevel and several nieces and nephews.
