Joyce Kemph Walton, 83, of Cuthbert died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Willson Hospice House in Albany. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 19th at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Cuthbert with interment to follow in the Morgan Methodist Church Cemetery in Morgan.

Mrs. Walton was born in Morgan on May 5, 1929 and moved to Cuthbert in 1965. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Cuthbert and the Winsome Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Walton was the daughter of the late James Alexander and Ellie Melton Kemph of Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. (Billy) Walton, and brothers Edgar Kemph and Bain Kemph.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Snider of Milledgeville and Wanda Walton of Atlanta, and a brother, Ronald Kemph of Albany.
