Juanita S. Beamon, 77, of Shellman died Monday, September 9, 2013 at her residence. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the East View Cemetery in Shellman with Rev. Bruce Pittman officiating.

Mrs. Beamon was born on January 24, 1936 in Shellman the daughter of the late Floyd and Ailene Jones Scarborough. She was a member of the Shellman First Baptist Church and a home maker. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Mary Beamon Ragan, a sister, Jane S. Langford, a brother, Buddy Scarborough and a grandson, Roy Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, James Earl (Jimmy) Beamon of Shellman, three daughters, Nita B. Fulghum of Shellman, Debbie J. Beamon of Shellman and Jimmie B. Barnes of Leesburg, three sisters, Betty Cox of Tifton, Nancy Ostean of Atlanta and Irma Kimbrell of Shellman, three brothers, Aubrey Scarborough of Shellman, Joe Scarborough of Albany and Jerry Scarborough of Jacksonville, FL., Nine Grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
