JUDSON W. HAND, SR.  77, of Fort Gaines, Ga. died Friday Dec. 6, 2013 at Willson Hospice house in Albany, Ga.Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM Monday Dec. 9, 2013 at the Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Thomas and Rev Jeff Hines officiating. Burial will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday Dec.10, 2013 at Patterson Cemetery in Patterson Ga.

Mr. Hand was born Dec. 9, 1935 in Sarasota FL. the son od the late Judson C. and Elizabeth Nagy Hand. He was retired from the US Air Force, and later worked with the US Civil Service as a Computer Programmer. He was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.

Survivors include is wife of 57 years Betty Hazel Hand of Fort Gaines; a son Judson W. Hand, Jr. of Leesburg, Ga.; two daughters Susan (Rick) Henderson of Richmond VA. and Amy Seiy of Gray, Ga.; a brother Walter Frank Hand of Cairo, ga.; three sisters Betty Jean (Eugene) Harrison of Cairo, Joann "Cookie" (Claton) Dension of Patterson, Mary Margaret (Bob) Werner of Whigham, Ga.; 14 grandchildrenand 19 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son David A. Hand; two brothers Charles Colan Hand, and Wendle "Butch" Lee Hand.

The family will recieve friends at the church 10:00 until service time at 11:00.
