Judy Grubbs Marshall, 78, of Albany, GA passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, in the Evergreen Assisted Living in Albany. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2024, in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lee Wright officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2:30 PM until funeral time in the cemetery.

Judy was born on September 19, 1946, in Cuthbert, GA the daughter of the late Otis Engram Grubbs and the late Audrey Lunsford Grubbs. She was a graduate of Cuthbert High School and was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church. During her career she worked as an administrative assistant for Coca Cola bottling in NC, an over the road truck driver and was a patient aid with the Veterans Administration in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary Lee Marshall and 2 brothers, Lamar Grubbs and Larry Grubbs.

Survivors include a son, Mark McConnell of Lincolnton, NC a brother, Charles (Cathy) Grubbs of Sautee Nacoochee, GA, a sister-in-law, Hilda Isabel Grubbs of Leesburg, 2 cousins Cheryl Meadows and Sandra Gosney, 2 nieces, Isabel Kristina (Chris) Nave of LaGrange, GA and Kelley Nichole (Reed) Thornhill of Albany, a nephew, Michael Scott (Benjamin) Grubbs of Marietta, GA and 6 great nieces and nephews, Eli, Tatum, Mattox, Anslee, Adalynn and Emerson.
