Katherine Milner Ammons, 76, of Lumpkin, GA. passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 in the Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the East View Cemetery in Cuthbert with Rev. Floyd Hipp officiating.

Mrs. Ammons was born in Randolph County on October 6, 1938 the daughter of the late William H. and Ruby Miller Milner. She was a Homemaker and attended Brooksville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her Husband, Donald Clay Ammons.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Kathy (Leon) Wiggins of Smithville and Nancy (Mike) Wilson of Benevolence, a son, Donnie (Von) Ammons of Richland, 2 sisters, Mildred Phillips of Dawson and Carol Wilson of Benevolence, a brother, Talmadge (Gloria) Milner of Cuthbert, 9 Grandchildren, Shawna, Dawn, Jamie, Polly, Bryan, Gavin, Christopher, Kevin and Austin, 9 Great Grandchildren, Colby, Tyler, Drew, Cullen, Hannah, Katherine Faith, AvaGail, Nathan and Abraham, several nieces and nephews and her beloved pet, Tubby.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
