Katherine Roberta Marwede, 83, of Ft. Gaines passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, in the Ft. Gaines Health and Rehabilitation. The family will have private services later.

Katherine was born on February 21, 1939, in St. Louis, MO the daughter of the late William Marwede and the late Nettie Pawick Marwede. She received an associate degree for Valdosta State University and was a retired Dental Hygienist.

Survivors include her daughter, Kelley Bess of Bessemer, AL, a son, Spencer King of Hueytown, Al, 2 sisters, Carol Ray of Cuthbert and Linda Johnson of Box Springs, GA and 2 Grandchildren, Summer and Shane.
