KATHY SHIVERS

Kathy Shivers, 71, of Coleman, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in the Miller County Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026, in the Shivers Cemetery on Cottonhill Road Ft. Gaines, GA with Rev. Randy Stokes and Rev. Mike Hartley officiating.

Kathy was born on October 23, 1954, in Meigs, GA, the daughter of the late Steve White and the late Lola Jane White. She was graduate from Clay County High School, member of the Baptist Faith. She was a business partner at J & K Farms and was former employed at Regions Bank and spent 20 years’ employment with George T. Bagby State Park near Ft. Gaines.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Shivers, Sr., of Coleman, a son, Joe (Leah) Shivers, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA, a daughter, Stephanie (Keisha) Hardwick of Ft. Gaines, a sister, Christy (Rick) Valentine of Columbus and 3 grandchildren, Lauren Shivers, Christopher Shivers and Abbey White.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
