KEVIN FLETCHER HAMBY, SR.

Kevin Fletcher Hamby, Sr., 58, of Dawson, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the Parrott City Cemetery with Chaplain John Williams officiating.

Kevin was born on February 3, 1968, in Dawson, GA the son of the late Aubrey Jack Hamby, Jr. and the late Rosa Pearl Fletcher Hamby. He was the owner and operator of Kevins Small Engine Repair for 36 years and was a member of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Melton Hamby of Dawson, daughter, Kayla Nicole Hamby of Dawson, 2 sons, Kevin Fletcher Hamby, Jr. and Devin Powell Hamby both of Dawson, 2 sisters, Jackie (Doug) Busby of Lee County and Connie (Robert) Kearns of Dawson, and 4 grandchildren, Raleigh Hamby, AuBree Hamby, Ava Hamby and Nova Hamby.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home and after the funeral the family will receive friends at the Chickasawhatchee Baptist Church 1500 Leesburg Highway Dawson.
