Kevin Duane Kirkland, 51, of Leesburg passed away on January 6, 2023, in his home. Graveside memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, in the Eastview Cemetery in Cuthbert, GA with Rev. Bobby Paul officiating. The family will receive friends from I:00 PM before the service until funeral time in the cemetery.

Kevin was born on March 26, 1971, in Ft. Knox, KY the son of the late Minnie Lee Cannon and Earl Lomax Kirkland. He was a long-time surveyor for Construction Engineers in Dawson, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Lee Cannon, grandparents, Max & Earlene Kirkland and John & Minnie Addison.

Survivors include his son, Dakota Duane Kirkland of Brunswick, GA, daughter, Cheyenne Marie Kirkland of Smithville, GA, grandchildren, Gabriella Marie and Skylar Leeanne, father, Earl Lomax Kirkland, stepmother, Janet, sister, Charlene (Joseph) Demetropoulos of Fountain, FL, brothers, Gerald (Teresa) Kirkland of Dawson, GA, Maxwell Kirkland of Tifton, GA, Ronald Kirkland of California and Shawn Kirkland of GA, 6 nephews and 8 nieces.
