Obituary

Lillie Webb Amons, 87, of Lumpkin, GA. passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 ar her son's residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 20, 2014 in the Lumpkin First Baptist Church with interment to follow in Northside Cemetery in Lumpkin.  Rev, Wayne Williams and Rev. Jack Ray will be officiating.

Mrs. Ammons was born February 15, 1927 in Marion County, GA. the daughter of the late Aaron and Hattie Whitman Webb. She was a graduate of Stewart County High School, retired from the ASCS office and was a member of the Lumpkin First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Ammons (Sybil) of Lumpkin, GA., 3 brothers, Cecil Webb of Hilliard, FL., James Webb (Wilma) of Columbus. GA. and Joseph Webb (Margie) of Americus, GA., 5 sisters, Jeannie Martin (Johnny) of Hilliard, FL., Annette Monkus (Morris) of Parrot, GA., Miriam Bacon (Lonnie) of Marietta, GA., Marie Carter (Jim) of Fairfax, VA. and Glenda Drew (Neal) of Preston, GA., 2 grandchildren, Phil Ammons (Amy) of Lumpkin, GA. and Julie Miller of Salem, AL., 2 step grandchildren, Blake Buchan (Christy) and Chris Buchan (Jeralyn) all of Louvale, GA. and 7 great grandchildren, Will Miller, Mya Ammons, Beau Ammons, Hannah Buchan, Amelia Buchan, Mason Buchan and Andrew Buchan.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December, 19, 2014 from 6:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
