Lillie Ruth Culbreth Whaley, 76 of Shellman passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 in Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany. Graveside funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in East View Cemetery in Shellman with Rev. Sharon Loyley officiating.

Mrs. Whaley was born on July 23, 1939 in Shellman the daughter of the late Alva and Johnnie Ruth Turner Culbreth. She was a retired inspector with Riverside Manufacturing and was a member of the Shellman United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roy Dean Whaley, Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Lagina Whaley of Panama City Beach, FL, her son Roy Dean Whaley, Jr. of Dawson, a brother, David Culbreth of Albany and 3 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence at 3486 Pearl St. Shellman, Ga.
