Linda Ellen Peavy Lang

Linda Ellen Peavy Lang, 78, passed away Friday August 2, 2019 at the Willson Hospice House in Albany, Ga. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday Aug. 3, 2019 at the Damascus Baptist Church near Cuthbert, Ga. with the Rev. David McFather officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Lang was born Nov. 14, 1940 in Cuthbert the daughter of the late Aubrey and Esther Peak Peavy. She was a high school graduate and attended Columbus Medical Center earning an RN degree in nursing. She was a retired Nurse of 25 years and later worked as a Loan Officer for First State Bank of Randolph County.  She was a member of the Damascus Baptist Church.

Mrs Lang is survived by her husband, Leslie "Les" Lang of Cuthbert , a son, Steven (Jean) Lang of Athens Ga., a sister, Wynelle (Don) Weiss of Cuthbert , 1 grandchild Ashleigh and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday Aug. 3, 2019 from 1:00 PM until service time at Damascus Baptist Church near Cuthbert.
