Louise Paul Peavy, 86, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 2, 2024, in the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery near Shellman with Rev. David Wolfe officiating.

Mrs. Peavy was born on June 9, 1938, in Morgan, GA the daughter of the late Eugene Paul and the late Lillie Weeks Paul. She was a graduate of Calhoun County High School in Edison, a member of New Light Free Will Baptist Church near Morgan and a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Catherine Paul Glass, and 4 brothers, Perry Paul, Walter Paul, Calvin Paul and Richard Paul.

Survivors include her husband, James Henry Peavy of Cuthbert, 2 daughters, Paula Roberts of Cuthbert and Karen Peavy of Heber City UT, a son, James Raymond Peavy of Cuthbert, 5 grandchildren, Shaun (Danielle) Roberts, Anna Philmon, Christopher Peavy, Nicholas (Elliott) Peavy and Abbey (Ben) Sparks, and 6 great grandchildren, Kaytlin, Gage, Addison, Andrew, Whitney, and Olivia.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Georgia Association of Free Will Baptist 305 W. Crawford St. P. O. Box 507 Colquitt, GA 39837.
