Lucy Anderson Taylor, 75, of Cuthbert passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church near Cuthbert with Rev. Thomas Duke officiating and interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor was born on March 22, 1941 in Pelham, GA the daughter of the late Henry Olive and Mary Lee Mathews Anderson. She was a Home Maker, and a member of Mt Hebron Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the W. M. U. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Russell Taylor and a grandson; Zachery.

Survivors include 2 daughters; Sharon (Cliff) Peak of Cuthbert and Susan (Paul) Wigley of Morgan, 2 sons; Rickie (Lisa) Taylor of Sevierville, TN and Danny Taylor of Lakeland, FL, a sister; Mary (Jerry) Graham of Calhoun, GA, a brother; Buddy (Faye) Anderson of NC, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 1512-1 Gillionville Rd. Albany, GA 31707.
