Martha Wright Riley, 89, of Cuthbert, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, in the Palemon Gaskins Nursing Home in Ocilla, GA. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 11, 2023, in the chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home with Dr. Ben McFather officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM CDT in the Echo Methodist Church Cemetery in Echo, AL. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 AM until funeral time at the funeral home.

Martha was born December 10, 1933, in Echo, AL the daughter of the late William E. and Ruby Lee Riley Wright. She was a graduate of the Echo High School, member of the Faith Baptist Church and a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hugh Max Riley, SR. and son, Kyle Riley.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Talissa Riley of Ocilla, GA, a son, Max (Cindy) Riley of Fayetteville, GA, a brother, Larry Wright of Dothan, AL, 2 sisters-in-law, Gail Snell and Jean Gunter both of AL, 5 grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
