Mary Beth Dominey Peavy, 79 of Cuthbert died Friday, January 31, 2014 at Randolph Medical Associates in Cuthbert. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 2nd at 2:00 PM in the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery near Shellman with Rev. Floyd Hipp and Dr. Ben McFather to officiate.

Mrs. Peavy was born September 19, 1934 in Georgetown the daughter of the late Grover and Alma Warr Dominey. She was a Farmer, a Homemaker and was married to the late John Lamar Peavy.

Survivors include 4 sons, John M. Peavy, Charles David Peavy, Calvin Wayne Peavy and Thomas Byron Peavy all of Cuthbert, 4 Step Children, Virgie S. Boring of Ohio, Pat Sanders of Cuthbert, Charlena Maulding of Cuthbert and Arlinda Bradshaw of Edison, 2 Sisters, Tommie Geeslin of Cartersville, Ga. and Joann Thrasher of Jonesboro, Ga., 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and a care giver, Ruby Rembert f Cuthbert.

Memorials may be made to the Rehoboth Baptist Church in Shellman, Ga. 39886. The family will receive friends from 6:00 untill 8:00 PM on Saturday at Lunsford Funeral Home.
