Merle F. Sauls, 76, of Cuthbert died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 10, 1013 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Williams officiating.

Mrs. Sauls was born on October 9, 1936 in Ozark, AL the daughter of the late Walter Frank and Sallie Harrison Flowers. She was a home maker and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, James Sauls of Dothan and Wayne Lamar Sauls and his wife Stephanie of Cuthbert, two daughters, Robbie Sauls and her husband Buddy of Leesburg and Tina Yamaki-Taylor and her husband Ryan of Niceville, FL, a brother, Curtis Flowers of Georgetown, a sister, Katherine Deal of Georgetown, eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 1:00 PM until funeral time.
