Mildred Everson Funderburke, 84 of Morgan died Sunday May 8, 2016 at Jo-Anne Burgin Nursing Home. The family will conduct a memorial service 2:00 PM Wednesday May 11, 2016 at New Light Freewill Baptist Church near Morgan with the Rev. William Murchison officiating.

Mrs. Funderburke was born Apr. 5, 1932 in Colquit Ga. the daughter of the late John and Alice Sammons Everson. Mrs. Funderburke was a retired secretary for Bermuda Plantation and D & D Lumber Co. and she was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include a son; Dustin Avera of Morgan, step sons; Lee Funderburke, of Morgan, Chuck Funderburke of Eufaula AL., Jeff Funderburke of Cuthbert and Derrell Avera of Edison; 2 step daughters Charlotte McLendon of Blakley and Joy Butler of Leesburg, Ga.; 2 sisters Wynette Weaver and Eunice Everson of Colquit, Ga.; 3 grandchildren; Clayton Scott Avera, Abby Lynn Avera and Michelle Flowers.        .
