Minnie Addison Cannon, 75, of Cuthbert passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 in the Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the chapel of Lunsford Funeral Home with interment to follow in East View Cemetery. Rev. Brian Johnson will officiate.

Mrs. Cannon was born on October 2, 1940 in Cuthbert the daughter of the late John Bryant and Minnie Perkins Addison. She was a retail store manager and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Dawson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Eleanor Harris and 2 brothers, David Addison and Robert Addison.

Survivors include  a daughter, Charlene (Joseph) Demetropoulos of Fountain, FL., 4 sons, Gerald (Teresa) Kirkland of Dawson, Maxwell L. Kirkland of Leesburg, Kevin (Margaret) Kirkland of Leesburg and Ronald W. (Hannah) Kirkland of California, 2 sisters, Mary Frances Herndon of Cuthbert and Judy (Lewis) Adkinson of Blue Ridge, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren..

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Lunsford Funeral Home.
