MIRIAM MOORE WALLACE

CUTHBERT, GA.

Miriam Moore Wallace, 97, of Cuthbert passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted in East View Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 20, 2014 with Rev. Ben Crowdis officiating.

Mrs. Wallace was born in Coleman, Ga. on January 20, 1917 the daughter of the late John Turner Moore and Mary Beard Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, L. B. Wallace, a son, Charles Wallace, a granddaughter, Renee Wallace and a grandson, Mart Kilpatrick.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Deanne Wallace of Cuthbert, GA., Jane Wallace Snipes (Billy) of Young Harris, GA. and Harriet Wallace Kilpatrick (Billy) of Dawson, GA., a son Billy Wallace (Gloria) of LaGrange, GA., a daughter-in-law, Dee Wallace of LaGrange, GA., 8 grandchildren, Brad Snipes, Kellie Snipes, Deena Snipes, Leigh Kilpatrick Whitfield, Chris Wallace Grace, Charity Wallace Miller, Ree Wallace Snellgrove and Anne Wallace, 9 great grandchildren, a sister, Marianne Hasty, a brother Hal Moore and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 2741 Cuthbert, GA. 39840 for the "The raise the roof fund" or the "Relay for life fund.

The family will receive friends at Lunsford Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon.
