Nadine Paul Edwards, 76, of Shellman passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in the New Light Freewill Baptist Church near Morgan with interment to follow in East View Cemetery in Shellman. Rev. Joe Murchison will officiate.

Mrs. Edwards was born on June 2, 1939 in Edison the daughter of the late James D. and Madie Turner Paul. She worked for the State and Federal Peanut Inspection Service and was a member of the New Light Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; James Earl Edwards and a son; Jimmie Edwards

Survivors include a daughter; Vickie E. (Guy) Beard of Shellman, 2 sons; Ronnie (Amy) Edwards of Dallas, GA and Wayne (Cindy) Edwards of Terrell Co, a sister; Phyllis "Coot" Stamps of Albany, 2 brothers; Haywood "Buddy" (Judy) Paul of Albany and Ronnie "Kat" (Rhonda) Paul of Nashville, TN, 8 grandchildren and 2 best friends; Patricia Wilkerson and Joan Blackshear.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Lunsford Funeral Home.
