Patricia "Pat" Irvine Wilkerson, 72, of Cuthbert, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025.

Born and raised in Winter Park, Florida, Pat moved to Georgia to attend Andrew College—a decision that would shape the rest of her life. She was a graduate of Edgewater High School, Andrew College and received a specialist degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern University, following her graduation, she began a lifelong career in education, dedicating 43 years to teaching and touching countless students' lives with her kindness, patience, and unwavering belief in their potential.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Wilkerson; her parents, Walter and Florence Irvine; her sisters, Kathy Stallard and Cindy McCollum; and her brother, Walter Irvine, Jr.

She is survived by her devoted son, Scott Wilkerson; her loving siblings, Allen Irvine, Charlie Irvine (Deborah), Robert Irvine (Annette), Pam Amrhein (Andy), and John Irvine (Marcia); and many nieces, nephews, former students, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A faithful member of the Cuthbert Pilot Club and Cuthbert United Methodist Church, and the Daughters of the American Revolution, Pat was known for her servant's heart and joyful spirit. Whether in the classroom, church, or community, she lived a life filled with compassion, purpose, and grace.

Visitation will be held from 10:00–11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Lunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Cuthbert with Rev. Currie Spoon and Larry Shellhouse officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cuthbert Pilot Club in honor of Pat's lifelong commitment to serving others.

Her legacy of love, learning, and laughter will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
