George Phares "Pete" Keene, 91, of Coleman passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted by the family at a later time.

Mr. Keene was on March 6, 1929 the son of the late Sam and Louise Sauls Keene. He retired as a truck driver for Propane Gas in Cuthbert and was a member of the Baptist Faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Martha Jean Daniels Keene and 2 sons, George and Larry Keene.

Survivors include his daughter, Brenda (Darryl) Keene of Coleman and several nieces and nephews.
