Rachel Mullet Hershberger, 74, of Cuthbert passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at her residence. Funeral services will be conduct at 10.00 AM on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in the Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastors Ernest Yoder and Paul Buckhiester officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Rachel was born on August 5, 1947, in Canton, OH the daughter of the late Noah and Loveda Overholt Mullet. She was retired after working 36 years in nursing service. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jonathon Hershberger, 2 sisters Neoma Hershberger and Rebecca Mullet and 2 brothers, Gideon Mullet and Noah Mullet.

Survivors include her husband, David Lynn Hershberger of Cuthbert, 2 daughters, Shurlyn (Paul) Turner of Omaha and Sandra (Andy) Christian of Lumpkin, daughter-in-law, Sharon Hershberger of Cuthbert, 3 sisters, Mary Weaver of Sarasota, FL, Virginia (LaVern) Raber of Pickens, SC and Betsy (Nathan) Graber of Senaca, SC, 3 brothers, Leon Mullet of Sarasota, FL, Paul (Anna) Mullet of Kokomo, IN and Gaylord (Martha) Mullet of Senaca, SC, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Christian, Paul Turner, Kyle Weathersby, Tristan Hershberger, Lance Christian and David Christian.
