Raymond Vaughn Avera, Sr.

Raymond Vaughn Avera 76 passed away Jan. 29, 2020 at the Willson House in Albany, Ga.  Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday February 3, 2020 from the Pickle Cemetery in Early Co. with the Rev. Jackie Williams officiating.

Mr. Avera was born Jan. 15, 1944 in Colquitt Ga. the son of the late Raymond Hall "Tater" and Annie Lou Pickle Avera. He was a High School Graduate and was of the Presbyterian Faith. He was a retired Insurance agent for American General Insurance.

Survivors include his wife Dawn D. Avera of Cuthbert; 4 Sons Lance (Megan) Avera of Donalsonville, Ga., Vaughn Avera of Cuthbert, Heath (Stacy) Avera and Sean (Celia) Avera of Jacksonville FL.; 3 sisters Betty Powell of Arlington, Ouida Tedder of Cuthbert and Carolyn (Edward) Wilkins of Edison, Ga. and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-4 P.M. Sunday Feb. 2, 2020 at Lunsford Funeral Home.
