Raymond Henry Morris, Jr., 78, of Eufaula, AL passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, in the Medical Center Barbour. Memorials services and donations in lieu of flowers will be announced by his family at a later time.

Raymond was born on March 4, 1946, in Cuthbert, GA the son of the late Raymond Henry Morris, SR. and the late Mary McRae Morris. Mr. Morris was a graduate of the University of Georgia and in his early career, served his country in the United States Army Reserves as a Green Beret paratrooper. Later, he had a successful career in many business ventures in Georgia and Alabama. These included Morris Tractor Company in Fort Gaines, GA, Riverside Turf in Shorterville, AL and Select Turf in Albany, GA. Also, during his life, he was an avid and skilled sportsman, with a keen interest in hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Caroline Simpson and Marianne Morris.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Smith Morris of Eufaula, AL, his nephew, Grant Simpson of Memphis, TN and his godson, Samuel Youngblood of Savannah, GA. He is also fondly remembered by two long serving employees, Walter Gilbert and Donna Crozier, plus other relatives and many friends.
