Regina Brooks King, 81, of Fernandina Beach, FL. passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 in the Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Mars Hill Primitive Baptist Church near Edison with interment to follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Dan Harris officiating.

Mrs. King was born on January 19, 1934 in Bluffton the daughter of the late William Marcine and Elizabeth Bruner Brooks. She attended Andrew College and retired from the accounting department of the Naval Submarine Base.

Survivors include a daughter, Ellen K. Guy of Fernandina Beach, FL., 2 sons, Tommy King of Fernandina Beach, FL. and Carl King of Roswell, GA. 3 sisters, Rebecca "Becky" (Max) Jordan of Decatur, AL., Marcia Brooks of Albany and Linda (Donald) Anthony of Ft. Gaines, a brother, Charles Ike (Yvonnie) Brooks of Leesburg, 3 grandchildren, Brandy Faulk DeBerry, Brittany George Allen and Alexis King and 5 great grandchildren, Gavin Scholl, Kalin DeBerry, Kinlee DeBerry, Harper Allen and Haven Allen.

The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 2:00 PM until the funeral time.
