Rhetta Louise Taylor

Winchester, TN.

Rhetta Louise Ranew Taylor 63, of Winchester passed away on Friday Oct. 16, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester. She was born on Dec. 31, 1956 in Randolph county Georgia to the late Curtis Lee and Agnes Long Ranew. Rhetta was a devoted homemaker, and a member of the Winchester First Baptist Church. She loved to cheer on her Georgia Bulldogs, host social events, sang in the church choir at Faith Baptist Church and volunteer in church activities and with seniors. She was a loving, cheerful, and caring women. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ranew, and her beloved dog of 15 years, Oscar. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gerald Taylor of Winchester; son Brian (Julie) Taylor of Arizona; grandchildren, Calvin Taylor, John- Curtis Taylor, Marc, Michael, Maegan; great-grandchild, Bowen; brothers Ralph Ranew, Richard (Sherrie) Taylor of Kennesaw, Georgia, Tim (Susan)Taylor of Tifton, Georgia; and many extended family members.

Graveside memorial service will be conducted Apr. 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Eastview Cemetery in Cuthbert with Dr. Ben McFather officiating.
