Robert E. "Buck" White, 82, passed away on Monday October 20, 2014 in Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday October 23, 2014 in Damascus Baptist Church near Cuthbert with private interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ben Crowdis will officiate.

Mr. White was born on April 5, 1932 in Cuthbert the son of the late Henry Lee and India Belle Peak White. He was a grauate of Cuthbert High School and served in the U. S. Army in Germany. He was a member of the Damascus Baptist Church and was a Lay Speaker. He was a Barber and owner operator of Buck's Barber Shop for over 50 years.

Survivors include his wife Juliette White of Cuthbert, a son Tim White (Cathy) of Cuthbert, a daughter, Karla Smith (Charles) of Albany, 4 grandchildren. India Katherine Bell, of Decatur, Ga., Cristin (Jeremy) Peavy of Cuthbert, Betsy Anne Dunlap of Athens, Ga and Lee (Brittany) White of Warner Robins, Ga. , a sister Joyce Durham of Columbus, Ga. and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will recieve friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Pm at the funeral home on Wednesday October 22, 2014.
